I switch to HA from Homeseer a few months ago & did not have any issues with any of my Insteon stuff when I left Homeseer. I did have a few bumps from the shutdown but their integration & support is STELLAR. I have everything working with the exception of one 6-Key which connected to a Fanlinc. I believe my issues started right after I switched to HA. I have the exact dame setup in my Family Room & Livingroom down to the automation. My Livingroom doesn’t work but the Family Room does. The issue in the Livingroom is when I press the “on” button, most of the time nothing will happen. The “on” lights up & I hear the normal click but the fan light does not come on. I was playing around a little tonight & I can turn the light on & off from HA. If I turn the light on from HA, I can then turn it off from the switch. However, 9 times out of 10 I will not be able to turn it back on at the switch. This will also not allow me to control the switch from HA anymore until I intervene. I have another automation to turn the fan light on/off on another 8-Key. I have to turn the light on/of there at which point I can control the light with HA again. I do get an error in the logs when this happens.
I am using the Insteon Hub which probably is not the best way. I gone through deleted all the automations & started over a couple of times. I know the switch work so don’t think it is a hardware issue. The error is below.
