I’m having a weird issue with the door sensor. I have it added to the dashboard and it reports the status as expected. Door is closed, status shows closed. Door is open, status shows opened. The issue I’m having is if I open the door and leave it open, then restart HA, the sensor says closed. I can fix it by simply closing and opening the door, but I’m hoping there’s an easier way to have the status update after a restart.
Any ideas?
