Request to add built-in support for SER2NET in the Insteon integration. The Zwave and Zigbee already have this, a remote server with SER2NET running, HA can connect with
tcp://xxx.xxx.x.xxx:port.
I am configuration a remove box, actually a 2243 hub which has an internal beaglebone board. I have added a zigbee and zwave stick and have reprogrammed the beaglebone with debian with ser2net and have these working with a HA install on a server. This can also be done with raspberry pi for others. I have the insteon modem also configured thru ser2net, but the only option currently is to run a debian install of HA with supervisor as HASSOS does not have socat capability. Would be really nice to have the integrated option for Insteon as with Zigbee and Zwave.
