I have two insteon thermostats ( and the issue here was happening before the insteon shutdown). I am using the scheduler card to control them ( setting set points) and the climate card to monitor the status. Everything works just fine except that the actual status of the units - cooling, heating, idle - is not reported correctly EXCEPT during start up/restart of HA. Whatever the status is at start up IS reported correctly, but that is never updated after that. Running on Rasp PI 3, and connected to Insteon via Powerlinc modem ( and the Hub is also still powered up, not sure it is doing anything though). Thanks for any input.
