Insteon - trouble adding device

Hi, I brought over a large insteon installation from Homeseer (96 devices) and just recently tried to add my first new device from within HA using the “+ Add Device” button from the Insteon integration configuration page. I’m trying to add an Insteon outdoor on/off switch. I was able to get HA to say that it had connected to the new device, and the device shows up in the Insteon integration with the proper address, but from within the Insteon configuration screen (properties tab) it says “no properties are available for this device”. I tried to setup an automation for this device and it won’t let me select anything for device action (like “turn off”).

I’ve tried using “read from device” and “add default links” from the all link database tab in the Insteon integration and this doesn’t change anything.

Any suggestions on something I can try to get this device added properly? I have a USB PLM that is doing the communicating, and everything else Insteon that was added to the PLM from within Homeseer works fine. Thx!

I feel your pain Have you looked at the All-Links database under your modem ?

Thanks Jason for the suggestion.

As an update I was able to get it to connect properly after removing it from Insteon/Home Assistant and re-adding it in the same way I did before. So not sure why it didn’t take the first time, but if anyone else runs into this issue, try removing it and then adding it again.
