Intallation of HAOS failing on RPI 4

  • Hi I tried to follow the instructions here: Raspberry Pi - Home Assistant
  • im seeing no display, unable to debug anything
  • the device is not coming online in my network either
  • raspberry pi os works when I use the imager utility :thinking:
  • I tried 32 and 64 bit images from github (10.3)
  • Also, tried installing via the menu from Imager utility
  • even tried ver 10.2 (64 bit)
  • also tried balena etcher too, same result

can someone help please? im not sure how to proceed

Hi - I assume you are using a SD card for install? Some people have had success formatting the card as NTFS before burning the image with Balena Etcher. Don’t know why as it doesn’t make much sense…

Also ensure your Pi is connected to the internet via the Ethernet port.

hey thanks, I decided to give up. Just switching to an old retired NAS which I resurrected
