Hi there,
I bought a new ceiling Fan (Create Windstylance DC) with WiFi. I can organize it on the create app where I can see a “virtuell ID”.
My question: is there a chance to integrate it in HA?
greetings

If it is the same brand as my ‘Create’ it is a Tuya inside. I integrated it via that way.
Kris
Kris, can you elaborate more on how you managed to do that?
First I installed the Tuya Smart app and made sure the fan was working via that app.
Once that is ok, you can start the tuya local integration in home assistant and connect HA and your Tuya account. Once that is done it should be easy peasy automagical.
Hi,
@groovesurfer I also have a Create fan (wildcalm) and I’ve added it to HA thru Tuya SmartLife first, and after that, in HA and it’s compatible.
@ahue This link gives you additional info about how add the devices added on Tuya to HA, because there’s an important step where you have to enter an user code:
Good luck!

Hello,
how did you connect your fan to the Tuya app.
I can connect it to the Create app. but not to Tuya.
Thank you
Same here, I was trying to connect create fan to Tuya, no luck.
Also I noticed that the fan receives commands through the cloud, so no way to manipulate it via http requests. Any solutions?
I managed to connect the fan to the Tuya app. The issue was that the fans were already connected to the Create-Store app. Once I removed them from that app, they became visible in the Tuya app.
Hey, thanks for your comment. How did you manage to get the fan out of the Create home app?
I can’t find an option to do so in this mediocre app.
Edit/Solution: my bad. When the fan is selected, there is a pen-symbol - which at first I misinterpreted as an option to rename the fan. Here I could delete the fan from the app. Afterwards I could easily setup the fan in the smart life / tuya App.
Way better now.
