Integrate RF hood remote in Hassio and trigger with Alexa and Google Home through IFTTT

I integrated my hood remote into Hassio.
Then I created automations with webhooks and emulated hue, to allow voice control through Alexa and Google Home.

Cool project, just for your info, lots of people are probably going to stop using IFTTT due their new subscription model…

Indeed. I’m going to try to expose the switches to emulated hue to avoid IFTTT. But that will only work with Alexa, not Goole Home.

Have you had a read of this?

I removed IFTTT from the repo :slight_smile:

@progbite

Thanks for your tutorial! I helped me to add my ventilation system remote. It uses a Niko Easywave transmitter/receiver. Really happy about it!

Sorry to hijack this tread, but @stefdewilde: I’m working on an add-on to support Easywave devices in Home Assistant. See New add-on to add support for Easywave devices.
