Finally there is a successfull implementation to integrate the Somfy ecosystem into your own automation. It works with the expensive Tahoma Box as well as the much cheaper Connexoon. Both boxes uses Somfy’s RESTAPI,

Ondrei Pecta did a great job to integrate it with OpenHAB:

It would be cool that you just need to add a username and password to this add-on and al your devices will be imported and updated automatically! So you only need to create rules :wink:

note: I just see https://www.home-assistant.io/components/tahoma/ (lets test if this works)

It works with the Connexoon and bugfix quite well!

Hi,
I am brandnew on the forum and have no skills on home io, but i just to be an elektriciën and worked for more the 30 years in ict.
I am searching for a way to control my blinds over the internet when needed.
I just read the artikel about Tahoma and there you wrote about implementing with HAB does this mean that there is no fysic Tahoma required but that it is solved by programming with HAB ?
My 4 blinds are all somfy io thats why i am asking.
Any info is welcome.
By the way i am living in the Netherlands so somethings may be different.

You need a Tahoma or the Conexxoon that acts as a bridge between HA or HAB :slight_smile:

shutters => bridge => internet <= HA/HAB
