One thing that has been annoying me with Hass is sometimes i just want to set something to turn off after 20 mins, or turn on in 5 hours before i get home. Typically these are one off events, but to do it, i need to set up an automation / script, test it and restart hass.
So i would want to be able to select any switch and set a timer or similar function.
Maybe flash the light in the kitchen when the bikkies are done in the oven? or turn off the toiletfan in an hour as it was a doozey!
you get the point, basically allow for some ad-hoc simple automations that are inherent in all switches.
