Just waiting for drill to go through the fingers in the video. Probably room for a manual button on top and some LEDs and a temp/humidy sensor.

And i was careful about the fingers. 
The reed switch is a nice touch and I think you mentioned that it also acts like an off switch when the cover is lifted during refilling the can so it does not fire in your face or hand??
Does the LD2410C sensor run hot? I am using the LD2410 (slim type) and it is quite hot where the glue will just melt right off.
My available glade version is quite small and holds .6 oz bottle. Shoots about 350 time before it needs to be refill. A bit of a pain to refill, but the freshener is well concealed. I have a HA button that I need to press to reset the counter. The reed switch is a good ideal.
