I use the Busch-Jaeger free@home system to control my smart home. It allows Thread or Matter devices—specifically those from Eve—to be connected via a manufacturer-supplied USB stick.
I would like to use Home Assistant as the central hub for all the devices in my house.
The problem is that I cannot pass the Eve devices through to Home Assistant, nor can I set them up there first and then pass them to free@home for continued use.
Can anyone help me figure out how to install the Eve devices in Home Assistant and potentially pass them to my free@home system, or alternatively, get them from free@home into Home Assistant?
When attempting a direct connection via Matter, the system only passes through the Busch-Jaeger components, not the Eve devices.
