Integrating hue iris color lamps - serial number problems

hi,

i want to integrate my hue iris color lamps (first model, ~6 years old) in ha like i did with my other hue bulbs (white and color) - but it does not work. the iris color lamps came with own remote controls, but also work with hue apps v1 and v2. but unlike the bulbs i can not de-pair the iris lamps via the apps (or with a button press combination).

since they do not shop up in the automatich search, i would use the serial numbers, like i did with the bulbs. but the only unique number i can find on the iris (on the tag, see attached photo) has only 3 digits - the rest is not unique or no serial number format. adding zeros before or after the 3 digits does not help in the hue apps. i browsed manuals and forums - no solution.

i tried both hue app versions with bridge v1 and bridge v2, i tried to find them via the default zigbee home automation and via zigbee2wqtt (alternating, the other one was disabled). and i use sonoff 3.0 zigbee usb stick.

did someone else have this problem and could solve it?

I know this is likely not solving your problem but literally less than 2 hours ago I had a similar challenge.
I have 10-y old hue white-only bulbs that were (years ago) connected to the bridge and no longer in use since 2019. I wanted to add them to my Zigbee2MQTT now and the only option I had was to pair them with the bridge again via the number and then ‘remove/delete’ before I could add then in Z2M, i.e. it needed th hue bridge and app to get this done. The number was on the bulb 6 digit

yup, it’s similar to my problem and what i tried to do - but i am lacking the serial number with 6 digits - there are only 3 (lower left corner, under SN). it’s the same for all 3 lamps.

…there are other options…still bulb oriented…no clue if this helps but in the past the 5x on/off also set it in repairing

not working on these. i read all these tips - most of them refering to bluetooth models or newer models.

Thought you would have…I was trying to find an article to reset the chip I found ages ago but sadly cannot find it, it needed to open the bulb and apply some connectoin of sorts…sorry but this is where my 2cts end.

no, i don’t think the lamps support it - even the newer versions do not have it on their product page (only zigbee light link is mentioned).

finding information on these lamps is not so easy, searching for the chips inside seems to even more unsuccessful, unfortunately.

but if can get a grip on these commands mentioned in your link (never did this before), than a blind trial would not hurt…
