Hey guys,
I’m wondering if / how I’m able to use a motionEye cameras Embed URL as image path for a picture card in a lovelace?
Former I used the direct URL including the port (= streaming URL) like http://myhomeassistant.tld:1234 which worked properly.
Since I don’t want to open as many ports as I have cameras, I thought of using the Embed URL of the cameras like https://ha.stefan-herzog.com/api/hassio_ingress/someWeirdUniqueAndNotGuessableString/picture/1/frame/. Unfortunately this doesn’t work, the picture card is “empty”.
I removed the surveillance password, so only the surveillance user (in motionEye) is set.
Opening the Embed URL in a Private Window, I directly get an 401: Unauthorized.
