Integrating Tuya-powered Sous Vide machines (mzj category): Inkbird ISV-200W

do you still have to add each sensor manually like localtuya or is there a set template?

wish there are sharable templates for these would make life much easier

Nope, you just need the Device ID and local key from the Tuya Cloud IOT site, along with the IP (you can try to ā€œauto discoverā€ but that didnā€™t work for me - YMMV). It was easy to set up and I had my sous vide turning on and off, adjusting temp etc in minutes!

Could you please help me and tell - what are first steps to connect ISW-200 with tuyalocal? I canā€™t find my sous vide via integartion( If itā€™s possible please share your template

Can you please share your config. I cant figure out how to get the Temp calibration slider, Temp unit selector, and on/off switch working.

Hello,
This could be implemented using my custom integration (GitHub - azerty9971/xtend_tuya: eXtend Tuya's integration).

Could one of you share a sous-vide device with my account so that I can implement it (using either your Tuya or SmartLife app)?
Smartlife: gg-106053160716494114782
Tuya: [email protected]

And contact me on [email protected] so that we can check together if everything is working properly once itā€™s implementedā€¦

Thanks in advance,
Azerty

Hello,
This has been implemented in xtend_tuya (GitHub - azerty9971/xtend_tuya: eXtend Tuya's integration).

Feel free to test it and let me know if anything is missing.

Have a nice evening,
Azerty

Apologies, I missed this question.

Itā€™s possible the integration may have been tweaked, but all these controls should be easily accessible once integrated via tuya_local. No special configuration required.

This is what is in the device information once integrated:

clicking into the ā€œcontrolsā€ section yields this:

Basically, itā€™s a thermostat in HA. You can integrate it into dashboards however youā€™d like.

FWIW, Iā€™ve had the ISV-1000 for almost 3 years and itā€™s running 5x a week. Iā€™ve owned a 4 other devices and this was by far the cheapest and works just exactly the same. For the $50 bucks + no stupid anova subscription bullshit, this is the only SV machine Iā€™d ever recommend and certainly w/ local control, itā€™s a no brainer for Home Asssistant crowd.
