Integration of alexa echo zigbee devices to HA

Hi community!
I have some lights from brand “tint” wich are integrated to alexa via the integrated zigbee hub in alexa echo (4th generation). Is there a way to bring those lights to HA in order to have better automation possibilities? I just read about either integration of HA devices with alexa or integration of the tint lights using a zigbee stick. But can I also use the echo hub to get the lights with all entities into HA?

Thanks in advance for any hint.

Best regards
Rado

Generally no - Alexa is a one way integration. If you want to use Zigbee devices directly in HA you’ll need a coordinator stick. Alexa Media player allows limited control of SOME devices - but TBH I wouldn’t recommend it.

If you use a Zigbee coordinator on HA - it’s all local and will be very fast. If for some random reason Alexa Media Player CAN control the device through an Echo (which again, I don’t believe it can) then it would be a cloud integration, you’d round trip from HA to Amazon back to your Echo TEN to the device for every command.

Note - VERY different story for Matter devices onboarded through an Alexa Matter Controller, but this isn’t matter,

This makes sense, thank you! I think I should get a zigbee stick
