Integration: reolink, firmware updates keep coming up

Hi there,

I have a bunch of reolink cams, and the reolink integration.

On every start i have to “ignor” the available firmware upgrade for each camera manually, its realy anoying, and firmware upgarde is not possible as one feature I do use on all cams is broken in the new firmware…

so how do I make the “ignor vailable update” actually stick through system restarts?

The cams themself have no WAN access, so that needs to be a function of the integration then. i wonder what else it communicates to reolink too.

Thank you all kindly
regards
Manne

If you disable the firmware entity for your camera it will stop doing that.

I have this same issues where all my 8 Reolink cameras connected to the Reolink NVR RLN16-410, using the Reolink IP NVR/Camera integration (RTSP), keeps notifying me if firmware updates.
But every time I try to update it fails with this error:

I would like the ability to update firmware through this integration.
Any suggestions to fix this?

i fully concure @Gurulee , however, reolink isnt known for timely and periodic firmware updates. my reolink stuff has had exactly one update, that broke more than it fixed. im still on the fw they where deliverd with…

so do it once, and be done with it.

hence probably why this integration dosnt suport or work, cause there are no updates that need updating from reolink.

(what a garbage company, why cant a company sell good hardware and make the firmware opensource, so folks cann keep updating it, if the manufactuerer decides its not worht it any more)

a friend jsut bought a couple for his sail ship, mast top front 180°, back 180° and bird view for the deck. awesome stream quality, but such a shitty implementation and such a buggy firmware…

cheers
