now, it said me password incorrect…
Is there another password wifi than Changeme by default?

you need to contact your installer. He can provide you with the admin access account. or check the manual which came with the inverter.
It seems we were knocking on the wrong door.
Edit: Another option is to reset/ recommission the inverter.

For me, it worked with the installer-standard-password: 00000a
I am not sure how that relates to the changeme-password. But using the fusionsolar-app, scanning the QR-code and selecting to login as installer using 00000a worked.
there are indeed 2 passwords.
Sun-2000HVxxxxxxxx AP has the password “Changeme”
Sun2000 app for communising and admin access has password “00000a”

Ok thks, i will take care about my children a little bit and then go back to try this night
Thks @yousaf465 and @peaceduck
actually, I cannot connect with a password shorter than 8 caracters, like Changeme… I can not push the join button.
I’m not able to reach the inverter through SUN2000 neither fusion solar app device commissioning but i still can ping the inverter from open wrt … (of course, i tested to connect with the mobile with openwrt and HA switch off).
It’s look like the inverter (which allows only 1 connection at time) think that a connection is still active even if alls dispositives are switched off…
EDIT : I’m now able to connect my mobile to the wifi inverter :
But still doesnt work with the SUN200…
thanks again, i must of read all 151 posts of yours inluding the linked one but i could not find how you compute
house_entity: sensor.house_consumption_daily
, that s the one thing I am missing, but i did learn a lot of other stuff i can’t wait to put in practice, like graphing production per string
Hello everyone, before writing I searched the forum but could not find the answer.
The value of the active power sensor is the same as the value of the input power sensor (it seems linked to the same sensor).
What can I do?
Password for Sun2000 app is 00000a to login
My apologize I wrote wrong in the post “wlcrs” when I wanted to write “openwrt”. Now it is correct.
Hello @yousaf465, well I call my installater for being unable to enter in the app ans they come to says me at the end that is probably a problem with the inverter, maybe to change the comunication card (waiting for huawei answer and approval).
So let’s wait for their intervention, nevertheless, I saw in this topics some people that were unable to reach the inverter with a ping from Home assistant but the integration / add-on works anyway. May it possible they works for me to after all? Because enter in the app, I don’t care, ping to ping the inverter, I don’t care also. My only concern is to retrieve the data in HA. What do you think, should we go on the process bypassing this step of ping?
Yes, it can work that way in some cases. In my case since there was a typo in IP address of the router, I faced the same issue, no ping but integration was working fine. Try it, it might work.
yes, but add it to the Network – firewall – custom rules to survive boot.
thks, but doesn´t work, I think that I will wait for the huawei intervention on my hardware, probably NOK.
Could you please just post you portforward and Natforward just to have a look ?
I have been successful! There is no way (I mean zero) this would have been the outcome if not for this thread, so THANK YOU.
I meticulously followed @yousaf465 and @trevee through their journey. This, in itself, didn’t work, but I then blindly used the commands I found in the firewall thread on the openwrt forum linked above and some there there unlocked it all.
I would like to make a more technical contribution here but I just don’t have the skills, networking is very new and very hard for me.
The one tip I would offer is on routers - I ended up buying a GL.iNet GL-AR750s to use, based on the openwrt wiki pages. The unit is small, good looking, well priced - but the BIG advantage is that out of the box the underlying OS it comes with IS Openwrt, so there was no flashing to do. That was a good step saved.
Good luck everyone, the results ARE worth it, the tidal wave of data I am getting from the Huawei is very helpful for me and the house automation.
You are welcome. But you don’t need expensive brand new hardware for this.
I am using old Cheap Netgear 4300V2 (it was flagship in its days) which costed me like USD $9 Pkr 1700.
It was so easy to flash, I actually ré-wrote the installation method on Openwrt for it. Just uploading two files first in Netgear GUI and second in Openwrt GUI (in this particular router only) YMMV.
GL. Int do come with Openwrt pre-installed but that version is too old.
Best Openwrt router in £50 bracket is belkin RT3200, IF you can get it on sale.
I am using the latest stable release of the Openwrt. Along with CAKE SQM, Watchcat(this package keeps check on Connection to Huwaei inverter, in case it is disconnected, radio0 is restarted, thus preventing any loss in Data in HA), Collected-graphs (historical data for each and everything on the router from processor use to Wi-Fi signal strength, I wish if this data could be imported into HA) and many other packages.
