Hey @fredrike thanks for letting usknow.
Reading the github thread it seems like it is resolved and the change will be incorporated shortly.
Is there anything you need to me to do? (Apart from install the update when it arrives and then test it)
It’s a sad day…
It looks like my Skyfi ‘board’ a BRC1E62 has either been killed by Daikin Australia or has somehow lost its firmware.
A curl request gives me:
C:\>curl --verbose --http0.9 http://192.168.1.48:2000/ac.cgi?pass=xxxxx
* Trying 192.168.1.48:2000...

Unless anyone knows how to fix this, I guess my HomeAssistant connection to my Daikin journey is at an end. (note: this is a ducted unit tucked into an almost impossible to access ceiling cavity that requires a roof sheet lift to access)
edit: Yes I have tried turning it on and off again
What do you get if you access the /firmwareUpdates page?
Do you mean on the device or with Daikin?
Hi Mark my skifi also died suddenly about 2 months ago after 8yrs of faithful service!!
Easiest way is to just buy the airbase adapter I got mine from here
Its a very easy swap from the old skifi to this airbase adapter I just did it myself just make sure to turn off your AC circuit of course.
The good side to this is the airbase is so much better than the old skifi the iOS app is super fast and it all works great in HA its much quicker to react when turning on and changing zones ect.
@crtp79 now that is interesting, and my current thoughts are that Daikin killed the SkyFi devices with a remote firmware erase.
I’ll have a look at that link you provided also, but am currently angling to this: GitHub - revk/ESP32-Faikin: ESP32 based module to control Daikin aircon units
