Hi @fredrike, is the button_press working on your setup ? Just wonder if I’m the only one with this problem…
I just did a reboot of HA and now my setup of Minut Point does no longer work either. I’ll have a deeper investigation on what might be wrong later today (or tomorrow).
Do you get “Authentication Error”? Incase i got the same.
Hi,
My integation is working fine as far as I can see all the sensors being reported fine. However I’m struggling to pick up the motion movements, either as a graph that I can see in the Minut app, or hang an automation off it.
I’m sure I’m missing something, can anyone advise? Thanks.
Can it be that the API has been updated and the old ones deprecated? When I try to re-register the integration it complains that I need a PRO subscription (and I don’t since I’m a backer of the Kickstarter).
Update: Minut promptly answered my mail and added API access to my account.
Update 2: Apparently the plans (subscriptions) have been updated late last month. Link to info.
The same fix worked for me (also a Kickstarer backer), email to Minut, and get them to add API access to my account. Then remove the old integration and redo setup, and everything is back as it should be.
Dang it, that probably means im screwed and have to pay 180$ to have the integration working again
Yes, perhaps we should.
It can still be kept alive via HACS.
Or, send an email to: [email protected] and ask politely to get them to allow it.
And all of you guys have the button sensor working OK ?
Yes, it works for me. But I should have a patch for your issue…
Would be appreciated, thanks
Hi!
Just removed my MinutPoint integration after having problems a couple of months and restarted
HomeAssistant and got a notification:
and it looks like it discovered the integration again!?
Tried to click configure but it looks like there's an error:
but nothing happen clicking it!```
```F.Y.I. Testing to call the link: http://homeassistant:8123/api/minut
downloads a file "minut" with the text "OK!"
Guess I've been missing some step? Please help!
I’ve got this integration largely working fine with 2023.1.1. I can see the sensors like temperature, humidity, moisture coming through fine and being regularly updated.
However, when I looked atthe motion sensor it always shows ‘Clear’ even though I know there is motion. In fact, when I use the Minut app I can see motion on the graph so I know the device is working fine.
Just for clarity it’s the ‘binary_sensor.*_motion’ entity. I know it’s not realtime and I’m ok with that but I still expected to see motion events.
What am I missing?
Hi Rob!
Did you reinstall the MinutPoint integration? I’m still having the same problem in 2023.1.4
///Peter
Yes I did try that and all updated to 2023.1.5 and still no joy.
No-one has confirmed whether it should work like this though. You’d think if there’s an entity called ‘motion’ that it would work like other motion sensors but obviously the Minut device is different as it only talks to the cloud intermittently. It would be nice for someone to confirm that their sensor does work like this.
Just renewed my Pro Account and Minut said I was on a ‘Legacy Pro’ account and it upgraded it as part of my subscription update.
It broke my Minut integration so I went to the api.minut.com an noticed my client id/secret had been deleted! I’ve created another one but can no longer connect it.
I get the ‘{“message”:“Unable to issue redirect for OAuth 2.0 transaction”,“code”:“server_error”,“status”:500,“name”:“AuthorizationError”,“error_key”:“internal_server_error”}’ return when I click the clink in HomeAssistant.
Never quite sure whether I should be putting http://localhost:8123/api/minut, http:///api/minut or https:///api/minut . Tried them all and still get the same error.
Have Minut changed something?
Amazed I’ve got no reply. Is no-one using this integration anymore, or is just working for everyone else and the problem is unique to me.
Would really appreciate a reply from someone - thanks.
Sorry for the late answer! I gave up 3 months ago, since Minut removed the excellent feature to set the alarm automatic when leaving the house! It was a perfect alarm for me, but now they seem to focus completely on the Air BnB market. I wish you good luck! B.r.g. ///Peter
I just updated to their new Pro plan and now when I try to configure the sensors I gets this.
Translation Error: The intl string context variable “b” was not provided to the string "Please follow the link below and Accept access to your Minut-account, come back and press Send when you’re done.
The link is http://homeassistant.local:8123/config/integrations which basically does nothing since I’m already on that page…
Anyone?
