A bit of workaround; I’m running HA as VM on ESXi 8 and then connecting it to virtual swith that uses ESXi supported (also Intel) 10Gb NIC. Works perfectly. Especially pleased with re-routing network traffic to remote MariaDB instance on my NAS - made quite a difference for larger queries (like History dashboard). So perhaps having quite powerful HW you should consider similar approach, instead of bare metal installation?
I meant new “mainstream”-wise.
I know the 10G standard have around 15 years on the back for the earliest products, but it is first in the recent 3-4 years you have begun to see it in the actual computers and in consumer network products.
Before that it was mainly a enterprise network backbone thing.
