Intellifire (Wifi Fireplace Module) - Hearth and Home

It most certainly isn’t! I just made the final changes today … didn’t realize it was Wednesday/release-day already

Looks like the fan got approved … so it should be in the next major release I think (unless it makes it into a point release)

Any status update on the lights on/off?

Nope - but I do have my pilot light hooked up to Alexa so that’s nice at least… I’ll eventually get to it I’m sure.

We’ll in good news app was down today but local control allowed me to turn on the flames!!!

Yep, down again. Unfortunately, although the HA integration (beta with all the bells and whistles) is up, my ECM is once again offline for no apparent reason. These things really are flawed…

Do the error sensors pickup that error?

I also saw the app was down and I was able to control the fireplace via HA! The new ECM module I was sent seems to have reduced the number of timeouts reported in HA. Still needs to seen if it will prevent lockups.

I’m running an early beta of yours that controls lights, fans, and flame level, i’ve been hesitant to change it out. -so i don’t have the error sensors running.

Wait I did lights way back when?

Yep, i’ve got a beta with code dated 2/13/22 that is doing lights, flame on/off, and flame height. My wife would miss it if i updated!

Wow had no idea I did the lights. lol

Are we sure wnelson isn’t referring to the pilot light? I don’t see an option to turn on the LED accent lights.

We are sure. There is a light level selector - Off, Low, Medium, High - and it works as advertised.

Thanks for clarifying. I do not have this option on latest installed version.

Things were off today. Saw this. Power cycle. Back to a good state again.

Yeah, i’m going to have to put mine on some kind of switched plug given how frequently it just dies. I wonder how hot it gets in the enclosure where it plugs in, so that i could just use a cheap zwave smart plug or something.

I have a tiny switch on the front of mine I can just flip

ECM offline again…

Lame. I have wondered if it’s the heat knocking it offline, but it seems to be pretty random.
