If I had the chance to chose a new intercom/door opener solution for our residential complex what would be a great fit in terms of Home Assistant compatibility? Ideally it should be an open solution that works with intercom devices in our appartments as well as HA directly. Without the need of a cloud. (so VoIP, MQTT, …) Video is not required yet but should be supported.
We are located in Europe/Austria.
Any recommendations? (If not, what should I look for?)
Dahua VTO models have intercom(voip), camera, doorbell button and relay for door control. Some models have keypad. It has decent api support and 100% local is possible.
Or
Something like a Ratgdo or diy version of it to control door. You can have seperate keypad or entry device
