Intercom receiver integration - Came BPT

Hey there! I am looking to purchase a video and audio receiver to place in my apartment and connect it to the block intercom.

The contractor has instructed me that in order to connect to the intercom I need to buy a specific brand, for it to work and connect to the wire they have passed to my apartment. That is Came BPT intercoms.

This is the entry panel installed at the entrance of the block: MTM VR | CAME UK
This is the only receiver I have found that this brand has with wifi: XTS | CAME UK

It is quite expensive, and so I have two questions.

  1. Is it true that I have to stick to this brand in order to have a receiver in my apartment? Can I have more choices?
  2. If not, any possibility that I can integrate this with home assistant? I didn’t find any integration help about this brand, only one post that is related.

Hi! There are two different systems of XTS monitors - there is an IP version, for example this one - XTS 7IP WiFi or XTS 5IP, and there is a X1 version (two wire system), for example this one - XTS 7 WiFi.

Depending on which one you have, the answer to your question will be different.
