I am having trouble with sporadic z-wave failures. To level set: I am migrating from a Homeseer system. I am running HA on a dedicated Odroid N2+ using a Zooz series 800 controller using z-WaveJS; I have migrated about a dozen switches from various vendors with a mix of series 500, 700 and 800. I have been using z-wave since it was introduced so I am generally familiar with the concepts. We are in a 3600 sq. ft. ranch style house, the Zooz USB is located up high in the center of the house,
The problem I am running into is the z-wave system works fine most of the time, but occasionally it fails - every node returns an ‘unknown error’, frequently at night. The next day, with no action on my part, it all works fine. The errors are returned by light turn_on or turn_off service, but no additional details are provided.
Any suggestions on how I can debug this?
