Internet connectivity and ZHA

Hi

Due to some technial problems on the side of the ISP my internet connection dropped three times this week. Everytime it happens, suddenly all smart lights, controlled by ZHA, are switching to “on”. The lights connected with zigbee2mqtt remain “off”.

Did anybody else observe this strange behavior? What has the internet connectivity to do with the light states of ZHA added smart lights? This make no sense - and yes, I can reproduce this. Its not some one time fluke - happen three times this week.

I also noticed that other parts of HA rely on internet connection, in parts for silly stuff, like the icons on the integrations overview (why the hell aren’t these icons local? feels like facebook style spying).

Somebody with insights?
Thanks in advance

I am on z2m and i have a device tracker triggerred automation to turn off all lights, if we all are not at home, it switches to away mode and turns off all lights. Device tracker relies on my connection to my router and yesterday my router failed (for some reason) and triggered away mode and turned off all lights.

Not sure, if it is the case for you.

Icons should be cached once into your browser, it should not rely on connectivity all the time.

I certaily have no automations which turn on all the lights ii case the internet goes away.
Caching is nice and all, but browsers are not a reliable cache. These icons should be local.

Stiil, the stuff with the lights concerns me…

Feel free to raise request on offline icon support, should be is just a preference.
