Internet provider with a Static Ip

Hello everyone, this is my first post, so I hope I am not doing something wrong !!!

I have the good luck to have a Static Ip provided by my internet provider ( paid to get it Static) this is great because I don’t need to use stuff like DuckDns or DynDns for my projects where I need to connect from outside of my house.

So with this in mind I can easily connect to my Home Assistant from outside with http://MyStaticIp:8123 after doing the correct port forwarding in my router, but this works only with HTTP and not with HTTPS.

Can anyone help me understand what I need to do or setup to be able to connect from outside my home in HTTPS??

Thanks for the help
Michele

You need a domain name for https. Certificates are not issued for ip addresses.
