I’m very new here, not sure what category I should put this in. We have serious issues with our network that we’ve battled with Xfinity for about 3 years about this. We’ve tried multiple modems/routers, and even upgraded our plan. They want us to start tracking when we have issues which is becoming very tedious. It’s not just drops but the speeds often drop down very low.
I have my modem linked, is there a way to track. There’s a few things I want to figure out how to track if possible.

Is there a way to log date/time stamp for certain activity directly from the modem? Such as full drops in network and if the speed drops below a certain number.

I have a desktop PC that’s always hard lined in. Can I link this as well and log when it drops/rejoins network as an extra layer of record?

If no way to create logs for drops/joins/speeds. Could I create a log that pulls data every so much time and records how long the network has been up and up/down speeds?
