Intesis home integration for AC controlling

Hello everyone,
I recently installed Intesis Cloud to control my Mitsubishi Heavy Industries AC.

I configured installation like explained here: IntesisHome - Home Assistant

It works but:

  • The state of the AC is passed from HA integration to AC Cloud and not back (if I change something directly on AC Cloud, it doesn’t update con HA integration);
  • Sometimes integration becames unavailable on HA Lovelace Dashboard and I am not able to send commands to the AC for some minutes, then it becames available again.

Any tips to improve this nice feature?

I also got the intesis integration in my home assistant setup. I use it to control my Thosiba AC’s from several automations.

First of all, I am considering to replace the intesis modules for the Tado IR modules. In the last years the Intesis modules have some serious issues regarding connection to your WiFi and or communicating with the AC devices.

For you first question could you please give us some more information, like what do you change in the cloud settings and what do you expect to happen?

For your second question, it is the communication between the cloud and the intesis hardware. I never could get my head wrapped around it but sometimes the wifi connection to the intesis ir module just disappears and the hardware cannot connect to the cloud.

HA will respond to that and will tell you it is unavailable.

But on the plus side, when the connection is stable to the cloud you can control you AC very nicely with some automations :slight_smile:
