I have installed Intesishome in connection Panasonic air-air heater. I have used ihconfig.com, put in the routers password (and it is correct) and it starts searching. After a couple minutes it turns on blinking red-green that indicates “Error Connecting to Access point or router. Try to connect again and make sure you write the correct password”. Tried several times but still the same. Any suggestions to solve the problem? Regards, Paul
Eg. check the Intesishome support section.
I just spent a night debugging the same problem. Finally noticed that our intesis device only has 802.11b mode for WiFi. (This is one of the first WiFi protocols). The router we’re trying to get it to connect to is one of most common xfinity newer modem routers. The router does not have a dedicated 802.11b mode option (only g, n and c). Spent some time with xfinity support who mentioned a similar problem with a WiFi bathroom scale and a Fitbit model). If it was critical, you could use a second older netgear router with WiFi b as a network bridge to the xfinity. But we plan to return the intesis, and ask for a model with g or n. If not available, give up on that device and look for something with more modern WiFi protocol support.
Hint for others - in automatic mode, notice that the only routers it can detect (if any) are 802.11b sources.
