Inverter integration: Strange peaks in daily energy

I am creating a zever solar inverter integration to work with the new energy dashboard.
The integration is working as it should, but my inverter is reporting strange peaks of daily energy use, which mess with the long term statistics.

My sensors have a state class of total_increasing https://developers.home-assistant.io/docs/core/entity/sensor#long-term-statistics
The peaks (which occur approx each half hour and have a duration of 5 minutes) mess up the long term statistics. I guess I need them removed. Anyone some clever ideas ?

Those spikes are likely a motor / compressor turning on (fridge, freezer, pump, etc.)

Thanks for the response. However, this is a chart for total generated energy (cumulative). So those spikes just cannot be.
However, I found the issue: my Zeversolar inverter is a bit crappy.

for example. 5.04 is reported as 5.4.

Hi @sanders. did you get anywhere with this strange peaks? i see them appear as well
