I got my hands on a industrial flow meter that measures water amount (flow), water temperature, conductivity and total. It exports this via a number of option, but the most data rich method is IO-Link. I have been googling a bit about this, and there are not a lot of non-industrial implementations and equipment is $$. This blog here shows that it’s UART based frames with information. It’s two way and thus needs to be initiated.
Anyone an idea if this can work in ESP home or, even better, experience?
