So with the Nabu Casa remote connection in the app, is there a need for the local SSL encryption (assuming our home network is safe)? It is my understand that the connection will be encrypted regardless of the local configuration. Because I was previously forwarding the port, I always used an encrypted connection, but I would rather remove all of the local SSL as it seems to always complicate everything…
