iOS App - Disconnected: Did not receive auth message within 10 seconds - Since the latest iOS app update

When I get home and open the app, it can’t connect to Home Assistant. And screen displays the following message:

When I close it completely and restart, it works again and the logs show the following error:

Does anyone else have this problem and maybe a solution?

I’m getting the same problem. I’m up to date with the HA core software and the latest version of IOS (iPhone and iPad).

Working fine yesterday, yet this morning I can’t login on IOS iPhone app. iPad will let me in briefly then it just says server rejected my credentials and I need to login again to continue. If my credentials were wrong, it wouldn’t let me into HA in the first place!?

I can log in fine on my pc… I’m smelling a bug somewhere

I think it’s IOS operating system based. Checked my old iPad which is running 15.8 (can’t update to 17), and HA logs in and running fine. Some
Something to do with latest IOS software update me thinks

Thank you for your assessment. Since I haven’t updated the iOS for a while, but have updated the app, I think it’s the one. Because after that it happened for the first time.

Today I did the core update to 2024.3.3 and when I got home after being away for a few hours, the app connection worked immediately! No more errors. Maybe I’ll be lucky and it won’t come back. Fingers crossed.

Unfortunately no luck, the error is still there.

I’ve been getting this error for the last few weeks. It’s driving me mad. I’m seeing it on all Apple devices (iphone, ipad and macbook). All of them are on the latest versions of their OS, as is Home Assistant. Has anybody had any progress in fixing it?

@Mrdjg Look here, they are working on it:
