Whe. I’m away and Connor reach my home assistant instance. Because of poof 5G reception. I found than the HA app drains the phone battery.
Maybe because it retries to connect a lot of something.
Is there a setting to reduce or disable is behavior?
Are you using Tailscale to connect to your HA at home? I have the same effect, but assume it’s the VPN connection. When I switch off VPN, battery consumption goes back to normal. I only switch it back on when I really need it.
I use WireGuard vpn. Google just learned me tailscale is Baden on that. So maybe it’s related.
Also without vpn I didn’t have internet so I enabled it again. But it could be vpn related as the app might acts differ when connected to the local url.
