When the app was in beta the location map showed the location of the iphones as drop pins and the zones in red.
With the new app there are no drop pins or red zones.
It still appears, at least for me. Unsure why your map wouldn’t be showing it. Maybe try sending a manual location update and then viewing the map?

You need to make sure you have location enabled in the app. It will show up to the left of the refresh button in the lower right.
I am running V1.04 and 0.43.2 of HASS but I don’t have the Map Icon to the left of the Refresh Button. Location Tracking is enabled and is working. Anything else one should do?
I had the same problem.
I deleted the app, rebooted my phone then installed Home Assistant again. Then enabled location tracking and notifications in the app’s settings.
The map reappeared and now works as it did previously.
And for some strange reason the app wouldn’t delete ‘properly’ when I did it from the Home screen, I had to go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage and delete it from there.
Just tried what you suggested, even removing it directly from the Storage. Same result, No Icon
Definitely seems like a bug.
