Is it possible to have the volume button on the iPhone or iPad be assigned to control the volume of a device when using the homeassistant app?… planning to use homeassitant to replace my Logitech harmony remote and would like to have that feature.
Also maybe some haptic feedback for when we press things.

iPeng, an application for the iPhone to control LMS and players, is able to do so and I was wondering the same.
I cannot make it… Have no idea where to begin with iphone coding. I was hoping that this could be added to the current Homassistant APP. The ability to customize the volume control buttons would be a cool feature to add. I used to have a harmony hub and it allowed the volume buttons to be used for turing the volume of a device up and down.
