iOS Companion App dashboards rapidly refreshing

I have had an issue for a while where when I open the companion app on iOS, it is constantly refreshing. The green settings gear in lower right hand corner keeps flashing and if I am on a screen like the dashboards or rooms, it means I cannot scroll down because every time it refreshes it resets the screen to the top. This happens on other screens too but doesn’t always reset it to the top or is at least less annoying but on any overview or dashboard page it makes it unusable. I have tried logging in and logging out and also uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted the server, etc. this issue has persisted through multiple updates.

Current version of the app is 2024.986. Core is 2024.11.3, Supervisor is 2024.11.4. OS is 13.2 (on a raspberry pi). Frontend is 20241106.2

I have a similar issue, but it does not refresh while I am in the app. It refreshes if I attempt to switch another app. So if I swipe down halfway, aborts and swipe up again, the ha will refresh and switch view to the home view.
I have two iphones, both are configured towards the same server, one local and one external. Only the newer phone has this issue, and it is with the local server. The external server adress does not have this issue…

The old iphone uses Companion app 2024.9.4 (2024.905).
The new iphone uses Companion app 2024.9.5 (2024.986).
