Does anyone have a ticket number or link to the artefact which represents the breakage or fault where an Apple smart device cannot bind a Thread device to a Home Assistant managed mesh?
Not sure what you mean exactly, but with 2024.7.0bx it will be possible to import the Thread network credentials to your iPhone/iPad (in the Settings → Devices & Services → Thread → Configuration panel).

In reading the manual pages for onboarding a Matter device, it was noted that the process was temporarily not working.
I’m reading from your comment i can use an iPhone to join a Thread/Matter device to Home Assistant.
I’m thinking that was my end goal.
