I am trying to use my own sound file for an iOS notification from HA. I was using this tutorial to add the sound file to the iPhone. Problem is, the tutorial doesn’t match my options in iTunes. Step 3 is to select “apps” in itunes under my device. That option is not there. It seems iTunes has been updated lately and no longer match the directions. Does anyone know how I can add a sound file that I can reference in the automation config?
Plug in your phone, select “file sharing” from the left menu then the HA app.
Make sure your sound files are 32bit float 48000Hz wav files or they wont work.

I don’t have those options. This is what I see.
Click the icon that looks like a phone on the top menu bar, right of “music”. Select your phone (if you have more than one device).

Thanks, Tom. I couldn’t click the phone icon at first but now I’m able to. Not sure why.
Were you using USB or wifi to connect?
Wifi sync can be a bit dodgey.
