So something I’ve noticed with iOS 16, the battery charging entity is slow to update if the HA companion app is not in the foreground. Before it was nearly instantaneous to respond to the entity state change. I use it for automations when I go to bed (as in plug in phone, turn off lights). Using the iOS shortcuts, it can fire an event instantaneous when I plug it in, so it seems like it’s an app issue?
I’ve noticed the same thing when i try to do the same sort of automations now (one year later)
Anyone got any more information about tis issue?
