I’m sure this has been down in a million different ways, but I thought I’d share here since it’s a fun little Home Assistant project.
I got a cheap little cloud shaped lightbox at Flying Tiger and thought it would be cute as a weather alert system. I’m using Home Assistant MQTT to send info from the Dark Sky sensor to a NodeMCU board. You can see the code and details on github here.
