Ipad not loading HA after update to 2026.6.0

i have a number of wall mounted ipads displaying a dashboard via a safari bookmark e.g. http://192.168.1.xx:8123/lovelace/0 and has worked fine for countless number of years. after upgrading to 2026.6.0, it is stuck showing the HA icon ... i also tried the ios app on the ipad with the same result. HA URLs work fine from firefox and from my iphone app. anyone having similar issues or can provide some guidance ? thanks in advance,

Having the same problem. 2 older iPads fail to load HA, but later i(Pad)OS versions (and Android) continue to work fine.

Good to see the reasons have been solved, but do we just have to wait for a new HA release? No update available this morning. Can we expect a fixed release later today?

Me too. I spent 20 minutes trying to figure this out. My fault for not waiting for the .1 release like I usually do.

Yes, you have to wait. No there is no ETA, but it will likely be in a future frontend release. Possibly even the next release

How was this not fixed in the 2026.6.1 release?

2026.6.1 only contained core changes. If you check the frontend github issue above, it was merged in to Frontend yesterday, but the last frontend release was last Wednesday.

Hopefully they'll do a Frontend hotfix release with 2026.6.2 this Friday. In the meantime you can use a different browser as mentioned in the first post.

For me 2026.6.1 didn't help, needed to downgrade to 2026.5.4

I waited for the .1 release and the problem appears to still be there. Same as most people here. iPad Air 2, latest OS (15.x.x) it can handle, HA app is up to date. Hopefully it is fixed soon. That has been an extremely reliable info display for the kitchen.

I do the same. Old iPhone stuck to microwave.
