Iphone companion app location keeps changing to 'when using'

In the HA companion app on my Iphone I have set the location permission to ‘Always’ but it keeps going to ‘When using’.
Has anyone seen thiis issue and has a solution ?

It is probably the phones permission settings that override the companion app settings.

It happened to me in my first installation. Try through the configure Menu of your iPhone, scroll down and select the Homeassistant app.
Set Always in the icon

Thanks but I had done that several times. Something kept changing it back to ‘when using app’. Two days ago I reloaded the server in the companion app and so far so good.
