Iphone tracker 2022

Hi, there are a few forum posts on this topic but these are a few years old. When checking the Device_tracker state in Dev tools yaml for my iphone the tracker is set to use gps.

For automations to work it really needs the router connection rather than gps, is there a way to reset this or add a new tracker ( perhaps 3rd party) ?

You will need to check for your phones presence on your own network so this will require your router.

There are a few router integrations depending on your router, maybe worth a look.
