Irrigation automation based on season

I want to change the settings for irrigation (frequency, watering time) based on the Season. What would be the best approach in your opinion? At a minimum level, I need to have different schedules for summer, autumn, spring, and winter.

I was thinking about creating one automation per season since I can add a condition based on it, but then I won’t have the option to control frequency (days of the week) and watering time (10 min in winter vs 20 min in summer).

How about a specialised integration that does it all.

Wow, that’s pretty extensive.

I’ve just spent some time coming up with my own irrigation control system that works well but I might just give yours a try too.

There’s a lot going on in that system so there’s a lot of config to try to digest but I’ll see if I can decipher it.
