Is Aeotec Z-Stick 7 USB stick EU version still problematic?

As per Z-Wave Controllers - Home Assistant

Is the above still up-to-date and the EU version not recommended or does the mentioned firmware update resolve this issue? (I am in the UK)

Ah, I did search prior to posting but now found this Which Z Wave 700? - #4 by 100s

Anyone know where the warning about the EU version came from ?
