It’s likely a discourse plugin possibly in use since 2019: Unformatted Code Detector - #14 by robbiet480 - Theme component - Discourse Meta
If so, not very new and not very AI.
It usually pops up when you put the first three backticks in but don’t put the second three after your code. And yeah it has been around quite a while.
I’ve never seen that before. As a newbie, I’m pretty sure one of my very first posts included unformatted code
I would have appreciated seeing that!
IMHO, it would be nice if it popped up whenever unformatted code is detected! It would save time from re-posting the “help us help you” post. I know better now, but might be helpful for the newer newbies than me. ![]()
just click the “do not show this message again” box. no more message.
I see… the only thing I can think of is that I had “default_config:” in there that might have been the trigger. I’ll just ignore it going forward, thanks.
