Im looking to getting a full light setup for a new house. I know that hue is very reliable and a guaranteed quality brand, plus i use z2m so its almost perfect. The only problem is price :S. Ive seen that govee is pretty good but im not sure if its solid integrated in home assistant. I want to save scenes and trigger them depending on the hour of the day, sensors, etc.

Is z2m the zigbee2mqtt integration? If that’s the case then no need to use the vendor specific integration. Zigbee is vendor agnostic - In theory any brand of zigbee device can be paired with your zigbee network.

IMHO I disagree.
Too expensive for what is delivered in basically a closed system. The integration works is cloud by default. There are local options.
Alll that said. I’m on my third power supply in three years for the led wall array. Colored are bright things are responsive but reliability is extremely lacking for me imho.
Given a choice… I’d stick with zigbee or ZWave tbh
