Is it a bad idea to introduce Hue Back to help Home Assistant Yellow?

When i moved to home assistant yellow, i had removed all other smart hubs and merged everything on zha on my home assistant yellow. I have about 125 zigbee devices. 25 of them lights, and so many for light controls.

delivery_failed situations are driving the family members mad. when it doesnt work well (more than half of the time) there is about a second of delay.

i have been thrown numerous articles by a few tower-watch-men of poor zigbee performance on this platform. yes, i have replaced all devices with potential interference to the maximum of extent. yes, i have bought ikea repeaters, yes i made sure no one turns off the smart lamps from the wall switches (which i cannot remove, because 2 seconds is unacceptable when my young children gotta go… when performance is bad, people restart the lamp and sit on the white throne).

my question is simple: if i were to reintroduce the hue hub and move the smart lamps and buttons there, would it help the performance? On the other hand, there will be another device (coordinator) on the same bandwitdh on the radio traffic.

another approach could be: maybe the built in zigbee in the yellow doesnt cut it. if i were to replace it with a deconz at the end of a usb cable,
a) should i worry about the migration in home assistant
b) it seems deconz stick has the best reputation for larger than small systems, any other suggestions?

Kind regards and thanks for your time in advance,

as a general rule, having two zigbee systems overlapping each other degrades performance. they share the same bandwidth but don’t know about each other so they can’t manage the frequency space. i don’t know about the built in yellow controller, and there’s not enough info in your post to diagnose what’s happening in your system, but i use sonoff plus-e dongle and have been generally happy with it.
